- Get trained! We offer:
- Screening training in negative stain on the Talos 120 TEM
- Schedule training to look at your samples via negative stain imaging, often the first validation of appropriate sample quality.
- During these sessions, you can work towards being authorized to screen grids independently.
- It may take multiple screening sessions to find a good condition for each sample.
- Vitrobot training
- Schedule a training session to learn how to use the Vitrobot.
- We can freeze samples for you but we recommend that regular users undergo training to enable independent use.
- Freeze up to 11 grids for screening.
-
CryoEM screening of vitrified grids on the Glacios 200 TEM
-
Schedule a screening session to assess ice and particle quality on your vitrified grid.
-
Performed by facility staff, but users are welcomed and encouraged to shadow and learn about grid features and what is required for subsequent high resolution data collection, or if needed, further sample optimization.
-
- High resolution Data collection/ EPU training on the Krios 300 TEM
- Schedule an overnight data collection session.
- Setup for data collection is carried out by facility staff using the EPU software for automated data collection. Users are encouraged and welcomed to shadow to learn about data collection parameters and strategies appropriate to their sample.
- Data Processing and Analysis
- Users generally process and analyse the larger data sets themselves, although the facility can provide expertise via paid consultation.
