Since 2015, the High-Resolution Macromolecular Cryo-Electron Microscopy (HRMEM) facility has been at the forefront of accelerating structural biology research through cryo-transmission electron microscopy (cryo-EM). Our work spans diverse applications and supports the goals of academic institutions and dozens of industry partners.
HRMEM offers advanced instrumentation, expert training, and consultation services tailored to both single particle analysis and cryo-electron tomography workflows. Home to a Glacios screening microscope, an energy filter enabled Titan Krios and the only Aquilos 2 Cryo-FIBMilling SEM in Canada, HRMEM delivers state-of-the-art capabilities that continue to drive innovation in molecular imaging.
